We provide a variety of musical entertainment for a wide range of audiences across Southern Ontario.

We play at cafés, theatres, pubs, markets and heritage homes. We also perform at private functions for special occasions.

Our music

We play a large selection of covers and original songs. Some of our covers are true to the original. Some we adapt and make our own!

Our style ranges across folk, light rock, blues, jazz, roots, pop, country and indie.

We have a core setlist of 100+ songs, and we’re always experimenting with new artists, songs, and styles.

About us

Pete & Anna started playing music together in 2016. Since then, they’ve played together in various Toronto bands and gigs. They perform a blend of originals and popular cover songs at diverse venues around Southern Ontario: street & seasonal festivals, cafés, farmers’ markets, private birthday parties and other events.

Over the past 3 years, Pete & Anna have combined their experience, passion for music, and love of song-writing with their backgrounds in education and wildlife conservation to develop inspiring shows for kids (2-10 years old) through Pete & Anna: Music for Kids. Performances incorporate audience participation and fun themes, drawing on Anna’s background in theatre and teaching experience.

Pete Ewins is a wildlife conservation expert. He holds a doctorate from Oxford University on the impact of oil pollution on seabirds, and has years of practical field experience on conservation projects in Canada and the UK. For many years, he was the wildlife species conservation lead for WWF Canada, during which time he gave numerous public presentations in schools, public venues and to the media, and also formed “PandaBand”. His creative and performing music passion has always been at the core of his work with wildlife, local people and mother nature.

Anna Broks has a Fine Arts degree in acting from the University of Windsor. She has performed with many theatre companies in Ontario, including “The Really Little Theatre Company” (Thom Currie), and Globus Theatre at the Lakeview Arts Barn in Bobcaygeon. Throughout her childhood, she studied classical voice at the Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music and won a silver medal for speech art and drama.
